Fini shed talking about 2.2 Dividing Fractions.  Assignment for today was to go to Big Ideas online through Clever and complete 2.2 Dividing Fractions Part 2. (pg.  67-68. #23-26, 43-51 in the book.). Had about 30 minutes in class to work on this.  Quiz corrections are due on Monday for students who got below a C- on the Adding, Subtracting, Multiplying Fractions Quiz.  Please see the post from yesterday for information about that.  

Got your quiz back on Adding, Subtracting, Multiplying Fractions.  If you got below a C- (D+, D, D-, or F) I need a parent signature.  If this applies to you, you may try to raise up your grade to a C- by correctly fixing all the problems you got wrong on a separate piece of paper showing your work.  Do this and I can raise up your grade.  I need this by Monday October 3rd.  

Started talking about 2.2 Dividing Fractions.  Your assignment for today is to go to Big Ideas online through Clever and complete 2.2 Dividing Fractions (pg. 67-68. #7-22, 30 in the textbook).  Students had about 15  minutes in class to work on this.  

Took a quiz on Adding, Subtracting, and Multiplying Fractions.  Will get it back tomorrow.  Did You Hear About handout is due tomorrow .  Please see the post from yesterday about information about this assignment.

Remember we have a quiz tomorrow on Adding, Subtracting, and Multiplying Fractions.  

Passed out the Did You Hear About Handout on Multiplying Mixed Numbers.  This will be due on Thursday.  For this assignment I had you get out a piece of paper and fold it in half three times so that there are 8 boxes on a side.  Please put one problem in a box, except for the last box where you will need to put two problems in a box.  Please write out the problem in the box before you solve it..  Put the letter next to the problem on the handout on the paper (with boxes) in the box when you solve the problems.  In other words, letter your problems instead of numbering them.  See me if you have any questions.

The quiz on adding, subtracting, and multiplying fractions will not be happening tomorrow.  It will be this Wednesday.
