Went to ixl.com and worked on R.9 Unit Rates and R.12 Use Tape Diagrams to solve ratio word problems.  Need 80 points each for these.  Had 30 minutes in class to work on this.  Don't forget about our quiz tomorrow on 5.1 to 5.3.  

On Wednesday we will be having a quiz on 5.1 to 5.3.  Worked on 5.1 to 5.3 review handout.  Please don't do problem #5.  Had 25 minutes in class to work on this.  Due tomorrow.  The Faceing Math Handout from Friday will be due this Friday February 3rd.  Please show your work on this and make sure it is colored.

Had the period to work on Faceing Math Fraction Concepts with Mixed Numbers.  

Had the period to work on Menu Math assignment.  Due tomorrow

Had the period to work on Area of a Composite Figure/4.3 Extension Practice Handout.  Please show your all your work.  Due tomorrow

Talked about 5.3 Rates.  Went to Big Ideas through Clever and completed 5.3 Rates. (pgs. 208-209. #7-18, 32 in the textbook.). Had 20 minutes in class to work on this.  

Went to ixl.com to work on R.3 Write a Ratio:  Word Problems and R.7 Ratio Tables.  Need to get at least 80 points for full credit.  Anything above that is extra credit.  If you don't have access to this at home, you can use an iPad in the morning before school from 8 am to 8:30 am.   Had the period to work on this.  

Don't forget that the Extreme Dot to Dot is due tomorrow.  

Went over 5.2 Ratio Tables.  Went to Big Ideas through Clever and completed 5.2 Ratio Tables (pgs. 201-202 #6-12, 14, 19, 20 in the textbook.)  Had about 15 minutes in class to work on this.  Don't forget that your Extreme Dot to Dot handout is due on Thursday.  Remember this semester if you turn completed assignments in late, you will only  be able to get at most half credit.  Also, when assignments are closed on Big Ideas, I will not unlock them again.  We talked about this at the end of last semester.
