Took our Chapter 1 Test.   Next Friday I will be emptying the no name pile.  Please check to see if you have any papers in there if you have assignments on Infinite Campus that you believe you have turned in.  ​

Had the period to work on the Chapter 1 Practice Test.  We will go over it tomorrow in class.  

Finished talking about 1.6 Least Common Multiple.   Went to Big Ideas online through Clever to complete 1.6 Least Common Multiple Part 2 (pgs. 40-41.  #16-17, 19-20, 22-27, 32-33, 37-39 from the textbook).  Had about 30 minutes in class to work on this.  Make sure you submit your answers in Big Ideas when you are done.  Remember we are having our first Chapter test over Chapter 1 on Friday.

Started talking about 1.6 Least Common Multiple Assignment for today is to go to Big Ideas online through Clever and complete 1.6 Least Common Multiple (pg.  40. #9-15 in the textbook.  Had 15 minutes in class to work on this.  

This Friday we will be having a test on Chapter 1.  

Finished talking about 1.5 Greatest Common Factor.  Next Friday we will be having a test over Chapter 1.   Please check your grades on Infinitie Campus.  There are students who have zeros because of not turning in assignments or because of not doing something for a particular assignment.  Read those comments I leave on Infinite Campus.  

Continued looking at 1.5 Greatest Common Factor.  Assignment for today is go onto Big Ideas online through Clever and complete 1.5 Greatest Common Factor (pg. 34 #7, 8, 10, 12, 13-16, 21, 22 in the textbook).  Had about 2o minutes in class to work on this.  We will be having a test next Friday on Chapter 1.  

Started talking about 1.5 Greatest Common Factor.  Will finish talking about it tomorrow in class.  Remember you Mystery Graph Picture #1 is due tomorrow.  It needs to be colored.  Below is a copy of the Handout from when I passed it out last Friday September 2nd

Remember that those students who got below a C- have until tomorrow to turn in their corrections for their quiz to raise their quiz grade up.  For those students, I need a parent signature.   If you need to make up the quiz on 1.1 to 1.3 please come talk to me about when to make the quiz up.

Your Mystery Graph Picture #1 is due this Thursday.  Make sure it is colored.    

Talked about 1.4 Prime Factorization.  Went to Big Ideas online through Clever to complete the assignment 1.4 Prime Factorization.  If you didn't finish it in class, please finish it at home.  It is due tomorrow.  If you don't have access to getting on Clever at home, I am available in the morning from 8:00 to 8:30 for you to use an iPad.

Got your quiz back on 1.1 to 1.3.  If you got below a C- (D+, D, D-, or F I need  a parent signature.  If this applies to you, you may try to raise up your grade to a C- by correctly fixing all the problems you got wrong on a separate piece of paper showing your work.  Do this and I can raise up your grade.  I need this by next Wednesday September 7th.   

​Talked about the Coordinate Plane today.  Worked on Mystery Graph Picture #1.  Please color it when you are done.  This will be due next Thursday September 8th.  Have a great 3 day weekend.
