Got you Chapter 4 Test back.  If you got below a C- (D+, D, D-, or F) I need a parent signature.  If this applies to you, you may try to raise up your grade to a C- by correctly fixing all the problems you got wrong on a separate piece of paper showing your work.  Do this and I can raise up your grade.  I need this by Monday March 6th.  If you need to make up the test please come talk to me so we can arrange a time for you to make up the test.  

Started talking about 5.1 Ratios today.  Assignment for today is pg.  194-195  #6-13, 15-16.  Had 20 minutes in class to work on this.  

Had the entire period to work on the 2.1 Puzzle Time Handout.  Please make sure you show your work on the back of the handout or on another piece of paper.  Number your problems and write out the original problem when solving them.  

Had the period to work on the following assignment from the book.  Pgs. 181-182 #1-10 pg.  184 #4-6, 12.  Due at the end of the period.

Took our Chapter 4 Test today.  Will get it back tomorrow.

Had the entire period to work on the Chapter 4 Practice Test.  Will go over it tomorrow in class.  Remember our test will be this Thursday.

We will be having a test next Thursday, February 23rd on Chapter 4.  Have a great 4 day weekend.

Didn't collect the assignment from yesterday.  We will correct yesterday's assignment and then turn it in tomorrow . Please see yesterday's post for information about the assignment.  

Talked about 4.4 Polygons in the Coordinate Plane.  Assignment for today is pg.  178. #6-11, 12-15, 17.  Passed out graph paper for this.  Remember for the problems you have to graph, put one problem in a graph.  Please number your problems on the graph paper.  When plotting the ordered pairs,  write the letter next to the ordered pair on the graph.  Make sure you show your work.  You have examples in your notes for this. Had 25 minutes in class for this.  

Finished talking about 4.3 Extension Area of Composite Figures. Your assignment for today is to do the back side of the Area of Composite Figures Handout from last week.  You should already have done #2-7 from the front of the handout.  For today do problems  8, 10-14 on the back of the handout.  You will be turning in both sides of the handout tomorrow.  Had 25 minutes in class to work on this.
