Went to ixl.com and worked on FF.6 Area of a Triangle. Need to get 80 points. Had 30 minutes in class to work on this. Don't forget about our quiz tomorrow on 4.1 to 4.2.

On Wednesday we will be having a quiz on 4.1 and 4.2. This includes Area of Parallelograms and Area of Triangles. Worked on 4.1 Practice B and 4.2 Practice B handout. Please solve the problems on another piece of paper by making boxes. Need to show your work like we have been doing in class. Had 30 minutes in class to work on this. The Faceing Math Handout from Friday will be due this Friday February 3rd. Please show your work on this and make sure it is colored. 
Had the period to work on Faceing Math Fraction Concepts with Mixed Numbers.
Had the period to work on Graphiti 21. Make sure that it is colored. Due tomorrow.
Had the period to work on Order of Operations Crossword Puzzle. Please show your work in the boxes on the back of the handout. Due tomorrow
Had the period to work on Activity 40 Handout. Please show your work for these problems on the back of the handout. Due on Monday.
Talked about 4.2 Area of Triangles. Assignment for today is pgs. 162-163. #4-8, 10-14. For problems 10 and 11 please put your answers in a sentence. Had 20 minutes in class to work on this.
Finished talking about 4.1 Area of Parallelograms. Assignment for today is pgs. 156-157. #11-16. Please show all your work like we did together in class. Had 15 minutes in class to work on this. Remember that your Extreme Dot to Dot Handout is due tomorrow.
Remember this semester if you turn in an assignment late, the most you will be able to get for that assignment is 50%. In order for a late assignment to get 5o %, it must be completely done. Late assignments that are not completely done will get less than 50%. Also, starting in January, I will only be accepting late assignments for the chapter we are working on. For example, while working in Chapter 2, I will accept late assignments for that chapter only. Once we take the chapter 2 test and move on to the next chapter I will no longer accept late assignments for Chapter 2. If you have any questions about this please come talk to me.
