Got back your Chapter 1 Test today. If you got below a C- I need a parent signature. For this quiz if you got below a C- you may try to improve your quiz score by correctly fixing the problems you got wrong on another piece of paper showing your work. Please make boxes for the paper where you are making your quiz corrections. For each problem you got wrong you need to write at least a 1-2 sentence explanation about what your mistake was. In other words, why did you get the problem wrong. If you can correctly fix all the problems and write an explanation for each one, I can raise up your grade to a C-. Need this by Tuesday October 1. Please make sure you turn in the original quiz along with the paper with the corrections and explanations. If you were absent for the test, I do make ups in the morning before school. Went over the Chapter 1 Practice Test today in class. You should have all the correct answers on your practice test. Use this, old homework assignments, notes to help you study for the test tomorrow. I passed out a 3 X 5 card/paper in class. You may write what ever you want on the card to help you on the test tomorrow. Yes you can use this filled out card on the test. You may not attach anything to the paper using glue, staples, post it, paper clip, etc. Don't forget to bring the 3 X 5 card. tomorrow.
