Your assignment for today is to do problems 6-12 on the Adding Fractions Handout that was given out yesterday. Please do these problems on the same paper you did 1-6. You will turn in all 12 problems in tomorrow on one piece of paper. Had 25 minutes in class to work on this.

Got your Chapter 1 Test back. If you got below a C- (D+, D, D-, or F I need a parent signature on the test. If this applies to you, you may try to raise up your grade to a C- by correctly fixing all the problems you got wrong on a separate piece of paper showing your work. Do this and I can raise up your grade. I need this by Friday October 11th. If you were absent and didn't take the test, you need to come talk to me to arrange a time to make up the test.. I generally do make ups in the morning before school.
Took our Chapter 1 Test. The Order of Operations Search and Shade assignment is due on Monday.
Tomorrow is our test on Chapter 1. Please bring your cheat sheet and practice test with you. I will be collecting the practice tests tomorrow. Had the period to work on the Order of Operations Search and Shade Handout. Please solve the problems on another piece of paper by making boxes. This will be due on Monday.
Went over the Chapter 1 Practice Test today in class. Students should have all the correct answers. I will collect the practice test on Friday. I passed out a 3 X 5 paper in class. You may write whatever you want on the card to help you on the test Friday. Think of this a a "cheat sheet." You are not allowed to attach anything to the paper using glue, staples, post it, paper clip, etc. Don't forget to bring the 3 X 5 card on Friday.
Had the period to work on the Chapter 1 Practice Test. We will go over it tomorrow in class. Our Chapter 1 Test is this Friday.
Finished going over the notes for 1.6 Least Common Multiple. Assignment for today is a handout called 1.5 Least Common Multiple. Do problems 3-11. Please show your work. Remember for word problems put your answer in a complete sentence. One problem goes in a box. Had 25 minutes in class to work on this. This Friday we will be having a test on Chapter 1.
