Finished Unit 2 Lesson 5 from Amplify. Took notes on Unit 2 Lesson 5 and glued it in our spiral notebook. Below is a copy of the notes and completed notes. Then using your iPads logged into Clever and went to Amplify to complete Unit 2 Lesson 5 Practice. If you didn't finish this in class, you need to finish it at home. This is due by tomorrow. If you don't have access to doing this at home, I am available in the morning before school. Tomorrow I will not be available because I have a meeting before school.. 
Had the period to work on the Graphiti 21 Handout. Please make sure you color it when you are done plotting all the ordered pairs. Due tomorrow.
Went on to Amplify through Clever and started Unit 2 Lesson 5 Balancing Act Introduction to Double Number Lines Classwork. Will continue with this next week.

If you don't have access to getting on Amplify through Clever, I am available in the morning before school starting 30 minutes for class starts if you need to use an iPad.

Started Unit 2 Lesson 4 Fruit Lab Creating Equivalent Ratios. Will finish this tomorrow. Had the entire period to work on Area and Perimeter Color By Number Handouts. This is due tomorrow. The deadline for the Nearpod 1st Semester Questions is this Thursday the 22nd. After that date, it will be closed and cannot be accessed again. Also, the My Life in Numbers Questionnaire and Poster From last week is due on Thursday. Remember that starting this semester, any assignment that is turned in late will only be able to get a maximum of 50%. if fully completed. Late assignments could get a score of less than 50% depending on what is turned in. Get those assignments turned in on time!
Had the period to work on the My Life in Numbers Poster. This Poster along with My Life In Numbers Questionnaire from yesterday is due Thursday January 22nd. For a copy of the questionnaire see yesterday's post. Don't forget that the Nearpod 1st Semester Questions from Monday will be closed on January 22nd. Please get that done. Once that is closed, you will not have access to it again.
Had the period to work on the My Life In Numbers Questionnaire. Remember to put your answers in a complete sentence. Use information from each question to form your sentences. Due tomorrow. Don't forget that the Nearpod Semester 1 Questions from yesterday will be closing next Thursday January 22nd. After that date you will not have access to that assignment. In class, you went to a site called Nearpod to answer some questions about how you did in math first semester. To get to Nearpod, you need to log onto Clever. Once on Clever, you need to find the Nearpod app under Mr. Brown's Teacher Pages.. To be able to answer the questions in Nearpod, you will need to put in a code.
1st Period Code->BWD36 3rd Period Code->VN7YX 5th Period Code->E7LWQ In the upper left hand side you will see the place to enter the code. Once you have entered the code to the right there is an arrow to press. Once this has been done, your name should appear and it will ask if this is you. If it is, press the blue bar that says Yes, Continue. Next will go through a series of slides and answer some questions. When you are done answering the question(s) on each slide, there is a submit button at the bottom right for you to hit so I will get your answer. Please remember to hit the submit button. There are arrows on the left and right side of the screen to move between the different slides. When you get to the slide that says something about starting over, that means you are done. Had the entire period to work on this. If you didn’t finish, you will need to finish at home. If you don’t have access at home to do this, you can stop by R1 in the morning before school to use an iPad to finish this. Have until January 22nd to do this before it closes. Once this closes, you will not have access to this Nearpod assignment anymore. |
