Talked about 2.2 Dividing Fractions.  Assignment is to go to Big Ideas through Clever and complete 2.2 Dividing Fractions.  (pg. 67 17-26).  Had 25 minutes in class to work on this.  

Took our quiz today on Adding, Subtracting, Multiplying Fractions.  If you need to finish please come in the morning before school or during break.  If you don't come in during one of those times I am going to grade your quiz.  

Had the period to work on Adding, Subtracting, Multiplying Fractions Review Handout.  Do problems 2, 4-13, 16-17, 19.  Solve the problems on a piece of paper by making boxes.  Due tomorrow.  Remember we are having a quiz tomorrow on Adding, Subtracting Multiplying Fractions. 

Finished talking about 2.1 Multiplying Fractions.  Went to Big Ideas online through Clever and worked on 2.1 Multiplying Fractions Part 3 (pg. 60 #36-41, 48-49, 51, 53 in the texbook).  Had 20 minutes in class to work on this.  

We will be having a quiz on Wednesday on Adding, Subtracting, Multiplying Fractions.

Continued looking at 2.1 Multiplying Fractions.  Went to Big Ideas online through Clever and completed 2.1 Multiplying Fractions Part 2.  Had 25 minutes in class to work on this.  You should have gotten this done in class. If you didn't, please finish it at home.  Next Wednesday we will be having a quiz on Adding, Subtracting, Multiplying Fractions.

Had the entire period to work on the Chapter 1 Handout.  Don't forget that the Faceing Math Handout with Picture is due tomorrow.  Chapter 1 Test corrections for those students who got below a C- is due on Monday.

Don't forget that the Faceing Math Lesson 8 Handout plus the picture is due on Friday.  Make sure you solve the problems on the Lesson 8 handout showing your work and that the picture is colored.  See yesterday's post for information on this and a digitial copy of the papers if you need another one.

We are now in Chapter 2.  We looked at how to add and subtract fractions with unlike denominators.  Assignment for today is a handout called Adding and Subtracting Fractions Handout.  Please do problems 1-2, 4, 7-8, 12-13, 21-23.  Please remember to put one problem in a box.  Make sure you are showing all your work.  You should have some examples in your notes.  For the word problems, put your answer in a sentence.  Had 2o minutes in class to work on this.
