Got on the iPads and went to Amplify through Clever to start Unit 1 Lesson 8 Off the Grid Part 2 Classwork.  Will finish this classwork tomorrow.

Logged onto Amplify through Clever to work on Unit 1 Lesson 7 Practice (6.1.07). Had the period to work on this.  Plenty of time to get this done in class.  This is due tomorrow.  If you don't have access to doing this at home, I am available in the morning before school for students to use an iPad to get any questions answered.  

Got on the iPads and logged onto Amplify through Clever.  Finished Unit 1 Lesson 7 Classwork.  If you didn't finish this in class, you need to finish it at home. It is due by tomorrow.  Then we took notes on this lesson.  A blank copy and a completed copy of these notes can be found in the Course 1/Advanced Course 1 Notes tab on this website.  

For the last 30 minutes in class, we used it as a Catch Up Day for students to complete any unfinished assignments for math  Hope you used your time wisely.

Don't forget that the Quiz Corrections for those students who got below a C- on the Unit 1 Lesson 2-5 quiz is due tomorrow.  Please see yesterday's post for information on this.

Got your Unit 1 Lesson 2-5 Quiz back.  If you got below a C- (D+, D, D-, or F I need a parent signature on the quiz.  If this applies to you, you may try to raise up your grade to a C- by correctly fixing all the problems you got wrong on a separate piece of paper showing your work.   If you are correcting  #1 on the quiz you need to rewrite the explanation based on the comments I put on your paper.  Do this and I can raise up your grade.  I need this by Wednesday September 23rd.  If you were absent and didn't take the quiz, you need to come talk to me to arrange a time to make up the quiz.  I generally do make ups in the morning before school.  

Got on our iPads and logged into Amplify through Clever to continue Unit 1 Lesson 7 Classwork.  For Periods 2 and 5 we got through slide 7.  For Period 1 We got through slide 3.  Will finish this classwork tomorrow.​

Got on the iPads and logged onto Amplify through Clever to start Unit 1 Lesson 7 Off the Grid Part 2 Classwork.  Will finish this on Monday.  Will get your quizzes back on Monday.  If you were not here to take the quiz you will need to come in the morning before school one day to make up the quiz.

Took our quiz on Unit 1 Lesson 2-5.  The Activity 14 Handout that was passed out in class yesterday will be due tomorrow.  Please see yesterday's post for a digital copy of the handout.

Got the iPads and logged onto Amplify through Clever to work on Unit 1 Lesson 5 Practice (6.1.05).  For slides 1-9 you need to show your work or you will not get credit for these slides.  I passed out a handout called Amplify Work where students are supposed to show their work.  Below is a copy of the handout.  Had 30 minutes in class to work on this.  This is due tomorrow.  I will be collecting the handouts tomorrow in class where students had to show their work for slides 1-9.  Don't forget that we have a quiz on Thursday on Unit 1 Lessons 2-5.

Got on the iPads and logged on to Amplify through Clever to finish Unit 1 Lesson 5 Classwork.  On Monday I will collect the papers where students where supposed to show work for slides, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10 for this assignment.  We will be having a quiz next Thursday September 17th on Unit 1 Lessons 2-5.  
For the last 20 minutes in class we had a Catch Up Day.  This time was given for students to get caught up on any missing or unfinished work for this class.  I hope you used your time wisely.
