Went over the Decimals Practice Test today in class. Students should have all the correct answers. I passed out a 3 X 5 card/paper in class. You may write whatever you want on the card to help you on the test tomorrow (example problems, any notes, etc.). You are not allowed to attach anything to the paper using glue, staples, post it, paper clip, etc. Don't forget to bring the 3 X 5 card for the Decimals Test tomorrow.

Had the entire period to work on the Decimals Practice Test. Remember our Decimals Test will be on Thursday. 
There will be a test this Thursday on Decimals. Worked on the assignment from the textbook pg. 100 #1-14. Had 35 minutes in class to work on this. Will go over it tomorrow.
Went to ixl.com and worked on H.2 Add and Subtract Decimals: Word problems. Remember you need to get a score of at least 80. If you don't have access to ixl at home, you can come by R1 in the morning before school starting at 7 a. m. to use an iPad. Next Thursday we will be having a test on Decimals.
Went to ixl.com and worked on H.4 Divide Decimals by Whole Numbers. Remember your goal is to get at least 80 points. 1st period you do not need to do this ixl assignment. This is only for period 4, 5, and 6.
Finished talking about 2.5 Dividing Decimals. Looked at how to divide a decimal by a decimal. Your assignment for today is pg. 98. #36-41, 43. Students had about 15 minutes to work on this.
Started going over 2.6 Dividing Decimals. Learned how to divide a decimal by a whole number. Assignment for today is pg. 97 #12-23, 26. Had about 25 minutes in class to work on this. Tomorrow we will go over how to divide decimals by decimals.
Finished taking the Benchmark on NWEA on our iPads that we started last Thursday. Remember the Spaceship in Space handout from Friday on multiplying Decimals is due tomorrow.
Had the entire period to work on the Spaceship in Space Handout on multiplying decimals. This will be due on Tuesday.
Started taking the NWEA district benchmark test on our iPads. For those of you that didn't finish, you will get more time to complete it.
