Finished going over 5.6 Solving Percent Problems. Had 20 minutes to work on pg. 230. #27-36. Will go over it tomorrow. On Friday we will be having a quiz on 5.5 and 5.6. Don't forget to turn in your Extreme Dot to Dot Handout, Optical Illusion Triangle Design, and Optical Illusion Square Design for a grade.
For Periods 4 and 6 Started looking at 5.6 Solving Percent Problems. Talked about how to find the percent of a number. Assignment for today is pg. 229. #4, 6, 7, 11-15, 19, 22. Had 30 minutes in class to work on this. Will turn in and go over this on Monday. Worked on a Square Optical Illusion Design. Remember you need to turn in the Triangle Optical Illusion Design for a grade as well as the Extreme Dot to Dot of a Bird for a grade

For periods 4 and 6 we continued on in Chapter 5 and looked at 5.5 Perecents. Learned how to write a percent as a fraction and how to write a fraction as a percent. Assignment for today is pg. 222 #8-13, 15-17, 21-27, 30. Students had 20 minutes in class to work on this. Had plenty of time to get this done in class.
Worked on a triangle optical illusion design in class. This counts as a grade. When you are finished with it and it is colored please make sure you turn it in for a grade. Also if you haven't finished the Extreme Dot to Dot (bird) from last week, please get that done and turned in to get a grade. Remember it needs to be colored.
