Had the period to work on Math Flow #31/Pumpkin Halloween #1 Handout. Due tomorrow. Don't forget that we are having a quiz on Tuesday November 4th on Lessons 1-12 from Amplify. 
Finished going over the Classwork for Unit 1 Lesson 12 on Amplify. This was pgs. 89-92 from the Volume 1 Workbook. After that we took notes on this lesson. Below is a copy of the notes and completed notes for this lesson. Students were assigned problems 2-5 on pg. 93 from the Volume 1 workbook. This is the lesson practice for this lesson. I will be collecting pgs. 89-93 from the Volume 1 workbook tomorrow.
Started Unit 1 Lesson 12 Nothing But Nets: Nets and Surface Area On A Grid Classwork from Amplify. We didn't use the Ipads for this. We used our Volume 1 Workbooks. We are working on pgs. 89-92. Will finish this tomorrow in class. We will be having a quiz on Lessons 1-12 from Amplify next Tuesday November 4th.

Logged onto Amplify through Clever to finish Unit 1 Lesson 11 Plenty of Polyhedra: Polyhedra and Their Faces Classwork. Took notes on this lesson and glued it in our spiral notebook. Below is a copy of the notes and completed notes for this lesson. Then went back to Amplify online to complete Unit 1 Lesson 12 Lesson Practice. If you didn't finish this in class, you will need to finish it at home. Due Mondayl

Went on to Amplify through Clever and finished the Unit 1 Lesson 10 Classwork. Took notes on this lesson and glued it in our notebooks. Below is a copy of the notes and completed notes for this lesson. Went back on to Amplify and worked on the Unit 1 Lesson 10 Lesson Practice. If you didn't finish this in class, you will need to finish it at home. Due tomorrow. Don't forget that your Unit 1 Quiz corrections are due tomorrow for those students who got below a C-. Please see yesterday's post for information about this.
Got your Unit 1 quiz back. If you got below a C- (D+, D, D-, or F I need a parent signature on the quiz If this applies to you, you may try to raise up your grade to a C- by correctly fixing all the problems you got wrong on a separate piece of paper showing your work. If you are correcting the last two problems on the quiz you need to rewrite the explanations based on the comments I put on your paper. Do this and I can raise up your grade. I need this by Wednesday October 22nd. If you were absent and didn't take the quiz, you need to come talk to me to arrange a time to make up the quiz. I generally do make ups in the morning before school.
