Collected the Activity 10 and Welcome to 6th Grade Math Booklet.  If you didn't turn them in, please get these assignments done and turn them in as soon as possible. 

Logged onto Clever and went to Amplify to complete the Lesson Practice for Unit 1 Lesson 1.  When a question asks you to "Show or Explain your Thinking" please do it in the box below. Each slide is worth a point.  Had 30 minutes in class to complete this.  Plenty of time to get this done in class.  If you didn't finish, you will need to finish this at home this weekend.  Remember I am available in the morning before school staring 30 minutes before school starts if you need to use an iPad.  ​

Had the period to work on Activity 10 Handout.  Please make sure you show your work in the boxes on the back of the handout.  Do not use a pen.  Due tomorrow.

Don't forget that the Welcome to 6th Grade Math Booklet is due this Friday.

Logged onto Clever and went to the Amplify app to start Unit 1 Lesson 1 Shapes on a Plane Exploring Area Classwork.  Will continue this tomorrow.  Don't forget that your Welcome to 6th Grade Math Booklet is due this Friday.  You should have all your supplies for this class by now.  See the post from the first day of school for what the supplies are.  We will begin using our spiral notebook and glue sticks tomorrow.  

In class today we logged on to Clever and went to the Amplify app to use our new Math curriculum.  Once on Clever, this app can be found on Mr. Brown's Page   We did an activity called Getting to Know Each Other.  The 13 slides that we went through is considered Classwork.  If you didn't finish the slides in class, you need to complete it at home.  You can access Clever on your phone, a tablet or a computer.  If you don't have access to doing this at home, I am available in the morning before school Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 to 8:30 a. m. or on Wednesday from 9:00 to 9:30 a. m. to use and iPad.  I will start grading this Classwork on Sunday.

Today is the last day we worked on the iReady diagnostic test.  The Welcome to 6th Grade Math booklet that I gave out on Tuesday August 19th will be due next Friday, August 29th.  Please see the post for that day if you need another copy of that booklet.  

Continued working on the i-Ready diagnostic test.  When you finished I gave you the Welcome to 6th Grade Math booklet to work on.  This does count for a grade.  Please bring this to class tomorrow to work on.  If you haven't finished the Name Pattern assignment, please get that done and turn it in to me.

Started taking the i-Ready district wide diagnostic test through Clever.  We will be continuing this test tomorrow.  If you still haven't turned in your Mathography from last week, please get that assignment turned in.  It you haven't finished your Name Pattern assignment from last week, please get that finished and turn it in to me.  You should have your supplies for this class by the end of this week.  Please see the post from the first day of school for information on this.
