Spent more time Dividing Decimals by a whole number. Assignment for today is 10 problems that I projected on the Big TV. Students were to write them down. Below is a copy of the 10 problems I projected on the Big TV. Had 25 minutes in class to work on this. Tomorrow we will start Dividing Decimals by Decimals 
Started talking about 2.6 Dividing Decimals. Looked at how to divide a decimal by a whole number. Assignment for today is pg. 97. #12-21. Period 5 do problem #13-20. Had 20 minutes in class to work on this.
Reviewed how to do long division. Assignment for today is a handout called Division Review Handout. Do all the problems except for #12. Had 30 minutes in class to work on this. Tomorrow we will begin talking about how divide decimals.
Got your 2.4 to 2.5 quiz back today. If you got below a C- (D+, D, D-, or F I need a parent signature on the quiz. If this applies to you, you may try to raise up your grade to a C- by correctly fixing all the problems you got wrong on a separate piece of paper showing your work. Do this and I can raise up your grade. I need this the Monday we get back from Thanksgiving Break November 27th. If you were absent and didn't take the quiz you need to come talk to me to arrange a time to make up the quiz. I generally do make ups in the morning before school.
Finished 2.5 Multiplying Decimals. Talked about how to multiply a decimal times a decimal. Your assignment for today is pg. 90 #38-41, 43, 45, 47. Had 20 minutes in class to work on this. Remember your Graphiti 21 graph picture is due tomorrow.
Quiz Thursday on 2.4 to 2.5 (Adding and Subtracting Decimals and Multiplying Decimals. Started talking about 2.5 Multiplying Decimals. Went over how to multiply a decimal times a whole number. Your assignment for today is pg 89 #13-23, 28. Had 20 minutes in class to work on this. Your Graphiti 21 graph picture is due this Wednesday. Please see the post from last Tuesday if you need another copy of the paper.
On Thursday we are having a quiz on 2.4 to 2.5 (adding and subtracting decimals, and multiplying decimals. Finished going over 2.4 Adding and Subtracting Decimals. Periods 3 and 5 did the following in class assignment pg. 82-83. #5-7, 11-12, 19, 20, 29. For the last 3 problems you need to put your answer in a sentence. It was due at the end of the period. The Graphiti 21 assignment from Tuesday is due next Wednesday November 15th. Remember that the Fractions Test corrections for those students who got below a C- is due on Monday.
