Went over the Chapter 4 Practice Test today in class. Students should have all the correct answers. I will collect the practice test tomorrow. I passed out a 3 X 5 card/paper in class. You may write whatever you want on the card to help you on the test tomorrow. Think of this a a "cheat sheet." You are not allowed to attach anything to the paper using glue, staples, post it, paper clip, etc. Don't forget to bring the 3 X 5 card. on Friday. Friday is test day. I will collect the practice test from you on Friday.

Started going over 4.3 Extension Areas of Composite Figures. Assignment for today is a handout called Composite Figures. Please do problems 2-7. For Period 3 and 5 do problems 2, 4-6. Had 15 minutes in class to work on this. Remember the Order of Operations Mystery Picture is due tomorrow.
Finished talking about 4.3 Area of Trapezoids. Assignment for today is pgs. 170-171 #11-14, 16-18. Had twenty minutes in class to work on this. Remember the Order of Operations Mystery Picture Handout from Valentine's Day is due this Friday.
Started talking about 4.3 Area of Trapezoids. Assignment for today is pg. 170-171 #4-9, 15. Had twenty minutes in class to work on this. Got your 4.1 to 4.2 Quiz back today. If you got below a C- (D+, D, D-, or F I need a parent signature on the test. If this applies to you, you may try to raise up your grade to a C- by correctly fixing all the problems you got wrong on a separate piece of paper showing your work. Do this and I can raise up your grade. I need this by Thursday February 22nd.. If you were absent and didn't take the test, you need to come talk to me to arrange a time to make up the test. I generally do make ups in the morning before school. The Order of Operations Mystery Picture that was given out on Valentine's Day will be due this Friday. Had the period to work on the Order of Operations Mystery Picture. Please solve the problems on another piece of paper by making boxes.
