Today you are going to learn about a new program called Microsoft Powerpoint.  You will learn how to create slides, change the them of a slide, and how to create and change the look of a bullet list.

If there is time left in class you will begin to work on Part 1 of the All About Me Powerpoint project.  Below are the directions.

Finishing up your original tessellation using Pages.  I will show you how to change this document to a PDF so that you can send it to me.  If you have all your work done and have emailed it to me, then you may go to the computer links on my website.

We will finish creating our original shape using pages to create another tessellation.  Then fill up the page with the original shape to make the tessellation complete.  You need to use at least two different colors.  Below are the directions for this.

You have one more day to work on either of your two tessellations using Microsoft Word.  If you are done with both assignments and have emailed them to me you may go on to the computer links on my website. 

Towards the end of the period, we are going to begin a new project using a program called Pages.  For this assignment you will be making a new Tessellations where you create your own shape.

Continuing to work on the second tessellation using Microsoft Word.  The directions for this are on yesterday's blog post.  Please follow the directions.  When you are done, email me your work.  You should be able to get this done by the end of the period today. 

If you haven't turned in your signed syllabus paper, please do so.  This counts for points for your grade.

At the end of class I will pass out the syllabus for this class.  You will need to take this home and read it over with one of your parents..  On the last page there is a section for you and one of your parents to sign  after you have read over the syllabus.  You will need to bring back this signed sections to class for a grade.

For the first part of class you are going to continue working on your first tessellation using Microsoft Word.  You should be able to finish this today.  Please see the post from last week for the directions.
