Started talking about 5.4 Comparing and Ordering Ratios. Assignment is a handout. Had about 25 minutes to work on this. Please make sure when you write your explanations, you tell me which food item is the better buy and why. You should be mentioning the unit rates in the explanation. Refer to the example we did together.
Got your quizzes back on 5.1 to 5.3. If you got below a C- (D+, D, D-, or F I would like a parent signature on the quiz If this applies to you, you may try to raise up your grade to a C- by correctly fixing all the problems you got wrong on a separate piece of paper showing your work. Do this and I can raise up your grade. I need this by Monday January 31st.
If you need to make up your quiz, please come talk to me about when you can take the quiz. Had the entire period to work on Activity 37 handout. Need to solve the problems on the back of the handout or on another piece of paper.
