Went on our iPads and logged onto Amplify through Clever and completed Unit 1 Lesson 9 Pile of Polygons Investigating Polygons and Their Areas Classwork.  If you didn't finish this in class you need to finish it at home.  Don't forget we have our first quiz on Friday.

Went on our iPads to finish Unit 1 Lesson 8 Classwork.  Then we took notes on Unit 1 Lesson 8.  Below are a copy of the blank and completed notes for this Lesson. After that we worked on Unit 1 Lesson 8 Lesson Practice on our iPads.  Had 25 minutes in class to work on this.  This is due tomorrow.  If you don't have access to an electronic device at home, you can use an iPad here in R1 starting a half hour before school starts.  Remember we are having our first quiz this Friday.  

Logged onto Amplify through Clever and started Unit 1 Lesson 8 Off The Grid Part 2 Applying The Formula For The Area of A Triangle Classwork.  Got through Slide 10 Will finish on Monday.  Next Friday October 3rd we will be having our first quiz on Lessons 1-9 from Unit 1.  

If you didn't complete the Mystery Graph Picture, please get that finished and turn it in tomorrow. Finished the Classwork for Unit 1 Lesson 7.  Took notes on this lesson and put it in our spiral notebook  Below is a copy of the notes and completed notes.  Logged onto to Amplify to work on the Unit 1 Lesson 7 Lesson Practice.  Had 20 minutes in class to work on this.  If you didn't finish it in class, you need to finish it at home.  ​

Don't forget that the Mystery Graph Picture is due tomorrow.  The picture needs to be colored.  Please see the post from last Friday September 19th for a copy of the picture.

Got our iPads and went to Amplify through Clever to start Unit 1 Lesson 7 Triangles and Parallelograms Generalizing the area of a Triangle Classwork.  Got through slide 7.  Will finish this tomorrow in class.

The Mystery Graph Picture from Friday is due this Wednesday.  Please make sure it is colored when you are done.  I'm going to hang these up on the wall.  ​

Finished Unit 1 Lesson 6 Classwork from the Volume 1 Workbook (pgs. 38-41). Collected these pages.  Took notes on Unit 1 Lesson 6 and glued them in our spiral notebook.  Got on Amplify on the iPads and did Unit 1 Lesson 6 Lesson Practice.  If you didn't finish the Lesson Practice you need to finish it at home.  It is due tomorrow by 8 am.  Below is a copy of the Blank notes and Completed notes from Unit 1 Lesson 6.  

Started Unit 1 Lesson 6 Exploring Triangles Triangles on a Grid Classwork. We used the Volume 1 workbook for this pgs. 38-41.  Got through question 4.  Will continue with this tomorrow.  

Went to Clever to get on the Amplify app to finish the Classwork from Unit 1 Lesson 5.  Please do not do slide number 9.  If you did not finish the classwork for this Lesson, you need to finish this at home.  I am going to start recording grades for this on Infinite Campus tomorrow.

Took notes on Unit 1 Lesson 5 and put in our spiral notebook.  Below is a copy of the notes that I passed out to the class as well as a copy of the completed notes for this lesson.

Spent the rest of the period on Amplify online working on Unit 1 Lesson 5 Lesson Practice.  If you didn't finish this in class, you need to finish it at home tonight.  It is due tomorrow morning by 8 am. I am not giving you time in class tomorrow to work on this.  We are going to begin Unit 1 Lesson 6 tomorrow.  Remember I am here in the morning before school a half hour before 1st period if you need to use an iPad or have a question.  Please remember to bring your Volume 1 workbook tomorrow.  We are going to be using it.  You should be bringing this workbook to school every day.
