Got your Decimals Test back. If you got below a C- (D+, D, D-, or F I need a parent signature on the test. If this applies to you, you may try to raise up your grade to a C- by correctly fixing all the problems you got wrong on a separate piece of paper showing your work. Do this and I can raise up your grade. I need this by Wednesday November 6th. If you were absent and didn't take the test, you need to come talk to me to arrange a time to make up the test.. I generally do make ups in the morning before school.
Went over the Decimals Practice Test today in class. Students should have all the correct answers. I will collect the practice test tomorrow. I passed out a 3 X 5 paper in class. You may write whatever you want on the card to help you on the test tomorrow. Think of this a a "cheat sheet." You are not allowed to attach anything to the paper using glue, staples, post it, paper clip, etc. Don't forget to bring the 3 X 5 card. tomorrow. Our decimals test is tomorrow.

Finished going over 2.6 Dividing Decimals. Assignment for today is to go to Big Ideas through Clever and complete 2.6 Dividng Decimals Part 3. Had 25 minutes in class to work on this. You will turn in your paper for these problems tomorrow. We will be having our Decimals Test next Tuesday October 29th.

Part 2 (pg. 98 #36-43 from the textbook.) Had 20 minutes in class. Need to solve these on a piece of paper by making boxes. You will turn in this paper tomorrow. Don't forget to submit your answers in Big Ideas when you are done. Started taking notes on 2.6 Dividing Decimals. Looked at how to divide a decimal by a whole number. Assignment for today is to go to Big Ideas and complete 2.6 Dividing Decimals (pg. 97 #10-23 from the textbook.) Please solve the problems on another piece of paper by making boxes. You will turn this in on Monday. Had 30 minutes in class to work on this. Should have gotten this done in class.
