Finished going over the notes for 1.3 Order of Operations.  Assignment for today is to go to Big Ideas through Clever and complete 1.3 Order of Operations Part 2.  (pg.  20-21. #18-28 from the textbook.  For this assignment besides answering the questions in Big Ideas online you need to solve the problems on a piece of paper showing your work.  Need to make boxes for this.  Remember in the upper right box you need to put your name, date, period, and name of assignment.  Please number your problems.  You will be turning in this paper tomorrow.  Please make sure you submit your answers in Big Ideas when you are done.  Had 20 minutes in class to work on this.

Started taking notes on 1.3 Order of Operations.  Assignment for today is going to Big Ideas through Clever and completing 1.3 Order of Operations. (pg.  20 #3-14 from the textbook.)  Had twenty minutes in class to work on this.  For this assignment,  you need to solve these problems on another piece of paper by making boxes.  Remember one problem goes in a box.  You will turn this paper in tomorrow.  Please remember to submit your answer in big Ideas when you are done.  

Quiz Friday on 1.1 to 1.3.

Went over 1.2 Powers and Exponents.  Assignment for today is to go to Big Ideas through Clever and complete 1.2 Powers and Exponents (Pg. 14-15. #4-12, 13-17, 24-32, 35, 36 from the textbook). Had about 10 minutes in class to work on this.  Need to finish this at home.  Due by tomorrow.  If you don't have access to doing this at home, I am available in the morning before school from 8 to 8:30 to use an iPad.
